Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and we’ve got you covered with some free Valentine’s Day printable cards for kids!  If you have kids, then you know that it can get pretty expensive buying cards and candy for all of their classmates. Not only that, time FLIES, and you wonder why in the heck it feels like Valentine’s Day arrives basically the day after you put away your Christmas decorations.

But we’ve got you covered with 3 FREE Valentine’s Day card printables that will help you quickly put together some super cute, creative, and cheap goodies for the whole class with little effort.

Free Valentine's Day Printable Cards Graphic

Each free Valentine’s Day card printable contains a fun saying with related graphics.  Here’s a quick overview of each:

  • Bunny | “Somebody makes me hoppy.  And it’s you!”
  • Color/Art | “You color my world.”
  • Donut | “Donut you know, you’re a hole lot of fun.”

To get started, you’ll need the following:

  • Mini Donuts, Crayons, and/or Bunny Snacks (see below for filler ideas)
  • Small plastic bags (you can find these at Dollar Tree or on Amazon)
  • Free Valentine’s Day printable
  • Scissors
  • Stapler or tape
  • White card stock
  • Color printer

Bag Filler Ideas

Bunny Card: Annie’s Bunny Crackers or Annie’s Bunny Fruit Snacks. You can buy the individual snack packs and staple to the card stock. Or a frugal alternative would be to buy 1-2 boxes of the crackers and portion out some crackers into the small plastic bags then staple to the card stock.

Color/Art Card: You can tape the free Valentine’s Day printable to a small pack of crayons. Or buy a large box of crayons and portion out a sample size into each plastic bag to then staple to the card stock. Small bottles of paint, fun stamps, or even colorful stickers would work well for this too!

Donut Card: You can buy small individual packs of mini donuts, purchase a larger pack of mini donuts to individually portion out, or even use donut cereal to portion into the plastic bags.

Step 1 – Print

Go ahead and download your free Valentine’s Day printable.   Choose just one design or print them all!

  • Bunny
  • Color/Art
  • Donut

Step 2 – Cut & Fold

After printing the graphics, you’ll want to cut out each card, eliminating the light-gray edges.  Once the cards are all cut out, fold each card in half.   All edges should line up.

Step 3 – Fill Bag & Attach Card

Now it’s time to fill each bag. See above for ideas on how to fill each treat bag! And this could be a fun activity to do together with your child to get them involved in serving their classmates. After filling the bags, seal them.  Then staple or tape the appropriate card to the bag. If stapling, make sure that the bag is stapled between the front and back halves on the card.

Step 4 – Personalize

Finally, add the finishing touch with your child’s name to the back of the card.  If your child is old enough, have them write their own name and the name of the recipients for a personalized touch!
